I almost hate admitting this but my first six months were a major league mixed bag of opportunities and failures. Way more activity, seemingly lots more opportunities, but landed almost none of them. My grade for myself to this point is a D+, which means I’m barely passing.

Doesn’t mean I’m giving up, just being honest. The effort is there but results is what counts. More study time? More homework? Not sure, but I’ll keep working on it.

      Mitch, I appreciate your honesty.

What seems to be getting in the way?

No idea Steve. Probably me, probably the fact that I market to people who don’t understand what I do but should, probably feeling beat down after such a long time of “nothingness”, probably the heat, probably I’m not that good at marketing, probably need a milkshake… well, that last one is a definite.

This year was NOT what i expected… i agree with Mitch. mixed bag of good and bad…. I’m def not where i thought i’d be but how amazing to think about and re assess. I did quit smoking, which is a great success for me.. but there are alot of other resolutions i made that are not doing so well. It would be great to make a resolution and check in each month on the first, and see how you are going to get to the next stage.

No longer lighting up is a huge win! Bravo!

Coaches are a great resource for accountability. You get to where you want to go quicker. If you have the means, hire one that’s right for you.

Last, since you’re part of a non profit, register for your own coach (pro bono) for 10 weeks at the Coach Approach. I’m part of their team and we provide services at no charge to leaders in not for profit organizations.

Nice surprise to see you here Kristin. Stop by more often!
