For a moment, hit the pause button, grab a paper and pencil, silence all your electronic distractions, and journal your answers to the following questions:
What significant changes have you made in the last 12 months?
Think back to this time last year: What was your endgame, your goal, the one thing you wanted to complete?
- Career transition?
- Uplevel your business?
- Become an entrepreneur?
- Improve your overall health and wellness?
- Travel abroad?
Did you do it? Did you follow through?
If yes, fantabulicious! What was the secret sauce to your success?
If you didn’t finish, what got in the way?
Whether you declared the last 365 a win or a failure, what did you learn?
Finally, what will you do differently this time, which you haven’t done yet, to propel you to crush your endgame?
If you’d like to discuss your endgame, I’d be happy to provide a complimentary consultation.
I’ve coached clients in 12 countries and counting.

I’ll admit that 2016 was a lousy year. If any year has started worse this one is it. However, this year’s a bit more personal so I’m giving myself a break until I can get my head around things and a handle on life.
That’s the thing about goals. We can keep our eyes on the prize but unless we jump on it when we can we can find ourselves dealing with something we weren’t expecting to. This isn’t a complaint or a whine; it’s just truth.
Mitch, sorry to hear 2016 wasn’t one to remember.
What did you learn about yourself in 2016?
